Role Description - Summary

Work on the daily tax issues including but not limited to monthly/quarterly/annually tax filing (VAT, EIT & “Exempt, Credit & Refund”), tax application for non-trade related forex payment; feedback to inquiries of tax authority, VAT reconciliation and the tax related accounting.

Main Accountabilities & Responsibilities
1. Work on the monthly/quarterly/annually tax filing (VAT, EIT & “Exempt, Credit & Refund”)
2. Complete the tax process pertaining to non-trade related forex payment
3. Answer inquiries regarding our export and import transactions and accordingly, provide details to the local tax authority
4. Work out the trade mark fee in accordance with the TMF agreement signed between the company and its headquarters, Export VAT transfer-out and surtaxes on export sales etc. and charge out the cost to the respective local business units
5. Assist in the preparation of Transfer Pricing Documentation (TPD)
6. Prepare the application for the financial subsidies and other tax refunds
7. Assist in the e-Pass validation and annual closing exercise
8. Ad hoc reporting to the local tax authority

Qualification and requirement
1. Over 2 years’ work experience in tax operations
2. Experience of “Exempt, Credit & Refund” filing.
3. Experience of non-trade payment application.
4. SAP knowledge is a plus.
5. Experience of TPD preparation is a plus.
6. Able to work under pressure.
7. Good interpersonal communication skills.


Education background
- Colleague degree or above in accounting, finance or economics
