The purpose and core requirements of the job

Job Title: Refined Metals Traffic Operation

Work Area: Shanghai refined metals operation

Main purpose of Job:
To contribute to the proper implementation of contract signed by trader
To manage the effective delivery of goods to buyers
To prepare various documents needed by contract.
To liaise with counterparty to facilitate the implementation of contract and solve problems happened

People Management Responsibility:

Typical Key Responsibilities:

Domestic business
Handle domestic refined metals spot purchase/sales
? Prepare contract
? Issue provisional / final invoice
? Issue payment order
? Make payment to local suppliers
? Liaise with local suppliers to ensure businesses to be carried out smoothly
? To manage the insurance, transport, delivery and warehousing on domestic transportation

Import / Export business
Handle some spot FOB refined metals purchases and relevant shipments
Follow up TTS' exportation of domestic purchased zinc
Follow up TTS' importation of copper
? Issue booking note
? Follow up pricing issue
? Prepare L/C draft and communicate with counterparty to generate final version and apply for opening L/C
? Liaise with shipping agent to book ship space and ensure shipment to be effected timely
? Liaise with warehouse agent to implement inspection and issue warehouse receipt
? Prepare relevant documents when L/C presentation needed
? Get instructions from traders and implement them and update information of interflex
? Liaise with counterparty to solve various problems happened during the implementation of contracts

Experience KnowledgeSkills
3 years' experience in similar position,.
Familiarity with domestic, import and export business process
Familiarity with UCP600
understanding of Customs regulations and government's legislation about import and export business
Experienced and expert in working with different cultures.
Understanding futures market
Commercial background, English and Local language excellent oral and written,
MS Office, good organiser, numerate, effective communicator
