Job Description:

?Join in Product Approval Committee (PAC) calls, lead decision making for NPI in region,
complete program reviews
?Lead overall regional NPI execution with accountability to NPI deliverables (schedule, quality, cost)
?Manage NPI personnel in matrix or direct reporting to ensure NPI execution
?Develop and maintain operating system for effective partnering with technology managers/engineers
?Lead program red issue recovery teams where necessary to achieve NPI resolution
?Travel to internal factory and supplier sites in support of NPI program planning and exec.
?Sponsor Manufacturing Readiness Level (MRL) assessments and drive actions to maintain MRL alignment
with NPI phases
?Drive DFM initiatives and compliance working with Design Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, and
Suppliers to design to mfg process capability and quality, cost, and schedule objectives (- Identify concept
design short-falls early, - Identify producibility issues in concept baselines, - Identify design improvement
opportunities)
?Ensure tasks are delivered on time; meet financial, performance, quality and reliability goals
?Participate in Critical Engineering Reviews to ensure product and process design for NPI programs

Qualification Required:

?A Bachelor degree in engineering or similar field is required;.
?At least 8+ years of experience in product manufacturing or product and process development
?Program Management experience
?Ability to accomplish objectives in matrix org
?Experience with high volume manufacturing and new product introduction including direct experience in
launching products required
?Experienced in using of process control tools such as FMEA, PMAP, and Cpk Analysis. Ability to define
problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to apply common sense
understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems
Involving several abstract and concrete variables.
?Process and application domain knowledge for Sensing and Control products
?Experience with specification, development, and implementation of mfg equipment
?Ability to identify and deploy process improvements
?Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate
project status and program needs across different levels of the organization and different operating
Environments
?Proficient oral and written English and Chinese communication skills
?Strong leadership and interpersonal skills in a team environment demonstrating influence across many
functions
?Results focused with successful record of accomplishments through skilled use of influence, persuasion,
negotiation, and problem resolution.
?Six Sigma Black Belt or Lean certification desirable
?Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Visio Fields
