职位描述
Job Title: Quality Manager - Asia
Department: China Office
Reports to: General Manager-China Office
Desired results of the job:
Avoid and reduce defect rate during production stage to reduce the cost of waste, increase production efficiency.
Set up robust supplier management system initiating from NPD, production, quality control, social compliance through security Etc.
Set up robust supplier regulatory compliance system and ensure products pass customer assigned lab testing and audit on time
Set up and keep improving product quality at supplier facilities by implement SCAR with suppliers
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Fully understand and translate engineering and quality specifications to suppliers. Assure that the specifications are fully understood and adhered to by all suppliers.
2. Work with QA engineers and 3rd party inspection staffs, perform in-process inspections and final inspections in suppliers manufacturing facilities and document supplier non-conformances and initiate Supplier corrective actions requests (SCAR) as necessary
3. Generate and review supplier DPPM and scorecard, work with suppliers to keep improving product quality on daily basis
4. Initiate supplier audit for any potential suppliers (new supplier)
5. Initiate yearly supplier audit for Igloo existing suppliers in China, take corrective actions for suppliers to keep improving
6. Lead and perform pre audit for Igloo suppliers prior to Igloo customer audit, and take corrective actions before Igloo customer audit starts
7. Work with suppliers to have pre-production meeting for any newly launched products, perform PPAP during new product pilot production in supplier facilities. Correct any discrepancy between original design and actual products
8. Study CPSC updates or any other US regulatory compliance updates related to Igloo products, ensure Igloo products meet all compliance requirements before shipping from Asia
9. Drive continuous product improvement by quality system improvement plan and scorecard, work with suppliers to drive execution of key quality improvements
10. Review and control qualification and development activities as it relates to new products, new processes and process changes with regards to supplier capabilities.
11. This position will be responsible for insuring that new product introductions are flawless at supplier manufacturing facilities with respect to quality acceptance standards and product specifications by setting up D-SFMEA and P-SFMEA
12. Provides back-up for all QA activities as it relates to the day to day operations.
Minimum Requirements and Qualifications:
1. Bachelors of Science degree in Engineering or Technical Field
2. Min 5 Years experience working in international environment
3. Experience of Walmart, Target, Costco SOP and operation
4. Knowledge of CPSC, FDA, BPA, CONEG
5. Knowledge of ISO 9000 quality system and SA 8000 system. GSV / C-TPAT will be a plus
6. Good communication skill
7. Excellent English for reading, writing and speaking
8. Team spirit
