职位描述
The Regional Manager belongs to the Sales department and reports to the Operation Director.
This department aims at raising the sales revenue by continuously improving the store management and maintaining a good brand image.
Mission
Under the responsibility of the Operation Director, the Regional Manager's mission is to develop a strong department strategy in order to reach the Company’s targets in terms of Turnover and Profit Margins, through:
- Sales Management,
- Store Management,
- Brand Image,
- Budget control
Key Duties & Activities
Setting-up of the department strategy
Based on the budget allocation and the targets to reach (in terms of Turnover and Profit Margin), the Province Manager must develop a suitable opening strategy that implies:
o Branch Stores opening scheduling,
o Partner Stores opening scheduling
To do so, he/she must take all the following indicators into consideration:
o Company’s strategy,
o Targets to achieve,
Branch Stores
o Evaluate the yearly sales target to be reached,
o Recruit and train the proper regional sales team,
o Coordinate the cross-department projects when necessary for the preparation of the new store opening.
Partner Stores
Sales Performance Management
Closely supported by the Network Analysis team, the Province Manager has the following responsibilities:
Thanks to the support of the Sales Analysis team based in HQ, the PM analyses, on a daily basis, the Sales performance to detect the Bad/Best Stores.
Based on the results, and on the recommendations of the Sales Analysis team, the Province Manager should propose and implement corrective actions to ensure all the stores can reach their monthly / yearly targets.
In case of any problem, or unexpected event, show reactivity and review or adjust the Department Strategy in order to ensure the targets completion:
o Work out feasible action plan to solve the common problem,
o Optimize sales team through staffing,
o Area reorganization if necessary
Budget control & follow-up
Throughout the season, the Regional Manager is responsible for ensuring the targets achievement, in terms of Turnover.
This implies the respect of the opening plan, the achievement of the Sales target and a close cost control.
Brand Image control
The Regional Manager ensures the Brand Image is always respected and improved.
The Regional Manager works with the various partners of the region he/she is in charge of in order to promote a good brand image.
Stability of the Sales team
Optimize the team organization and the responsibilities of all the team members:
· Control that the processes of the Sales department are followed by the team,
· Review and improve, if it is necessary, these processes in order to increase the efficiency and productivity of the team on an on-going basis,
· Train the team to make it grow,
Lead and coach the Sales team so that it can reach high level of performances,
Set clear objectives to the team members and ensure that all of them complete their tasks,
Communicate and give accurate directions to the team in order to let them know about the decisions taken.
