Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure and oversee key production programs across wide range of factories
- Drive production risk assessment and program planning
- Build relationships, manage and be the point person for factory owners/management
- Support and lead cross functional projects in driving supplier quality and efficiency improvements
- Work directly with customer to settle problem, both from a technical and commercial standpoint to ensure win-win situation for both parties
- Ensure proper production planning and resource allocation
- Select and oversee supplier on-boarding & production set-up
- On-site problem solving, definition of corrective action plans and oversight of the follow up
- Ensure overall supply chain stability
- Lead supplier negotiation process (Shop-Around)
- Identify cost saving potentials
- Reporting directly to VP

Job Requirements:
- Bachelor degree or above, ideally engineering or technical background, min. 8 years solid merchandising, production or sourcing experience, of which min. 3 years at managerial position, can work with overseas customers directly.
- In-depth tooling and material know-how
- Deep product knowledge across a wide range of hard lines and soft goods
- Strong sense for material and production costs.
- Technical skills on plastic or electronic products
- Experience with complex project management and working with teams in multiple locations
- Experience with production programs with short production ramp up times and large volume
- Mature, well organized, result-oriented, flexible and able to work under pressure
- Strong negotiations skills with a commercial mindset and good business sense
- Effective problem solver with excellent skills on communication, coaching and supervision.
- Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese with good communication skills & hands on experience in Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Can-do attitude
- Frequently travelling to factories and regular night conference call with customer required
