Job Duties

1) Manage Engineering Quality Assurance processes within Global BCS. Install and manage processes to track and audit adherence to standard processes and procedures (BPM, GDPiM, C40, C80)

2) Review and analyze project specific EQ requirements to support development of Quality Assurance Plan. Assess customer requirements for new and existing programs and develop and implement systems to satisfy those requirements. Interfaces with customer quality and engineering counterparts

3) Supporting and approving GDPIM/C40 gate reviews to ensure compliance and improve quality of event.

4) Project manage problem resolution and continuous improvement in projects including quality coaching and mentoring as well as use of G8D for DV/PV failures

5) Support development of standardized Engineering Metrics including requirements of Engineering Quality Assurance

6) Work closely with other quality assurance functions – especially warranty – in order to ensure an effective and structured lessons learned process.

7)Work with all engineering centers as well as other divisions’ EQ functions to drive standardization

8) Assess customer requirements for new and existing programs and develop and implement systems to satisfy those requirements. Interfaces with customer quality and engineering counterparts

9) Conducts product and process audits for conformance to company quality standards, including those necessary to support TS-16949 registration.

10) Prepare Management Summaries and Presentations as required.

Qualifications

Minimum –

Fluent in spoken and written English

Software / System / Mechanical Engineering

Automotive Quality Standards (QS9000, TS16949, ISO26262, ISO15504/Automotive Spice)

Management Skills

Problem solving skills, communication & influencing skills

Quality tools and methods (Configuration Management, Requirements Management...)

Preferred -

Certified TS16949 Assessor

Certified Quality Manager

Competent Automotive Spice Assessor

Certified Six Sigma Green / Black Belt
