Responsibilities

· Assisting the manager in leading a team of auditors in carrying out QMS Audit fieldwork at the factory level;

· Planning and auditing Mattel owned and operated plants, vendor factories and subcontractors for their compliance with Global Manufacturing Principles requirements;

· Wrapping up the audit and writing audit reports, presenting findings to management and reviewing the factory’s corrective action plans;

· Working closely with team members and colleagues from other departments in order to provide quality audit deliverables;

· Providing coaching junior team members, sharing and collaborating with teammates.

Requirements

· University degree or at least 5 years experience in social compliance audit;

· Professional qualifications: Certified SA8000 Lead Auditor or equivalent;

· Good working knowledge and understanding of China labor law requirements and ICTI requirements. Knowledgeable in BSCI and GRI Reporting is a plus;

· Minimum of 2 years experience in Senior Auditor position with a multi-national corporations (candidate with less experience can be considered for the post of Auditor);

· Working experience in toy manufacturing industry is an advantage;

· Excellent communication skills in both oral and written English and Chinese;

· Able to have frequent travel within Mainland China.
