Major Accountabilities:

-Fulfill company’s budget for cargo volume, revenue; develop and grow customer base, and maintain and improve customer satisfaction;
-Establish and maintain good relationship with business partners; build Matson good image in the market;
-Manage operations of terminal vessel and equipment to ensure vessel schedule integrity and reliability, smooth terminal operations, and equipment supply;
-Minimize operating costs so to be controlled within the company’s operating budget;
-Ensure the office is running smoothly in all aspects; timely report to China management team per the company policies, rules and procedures;
-Keep open and effective communications with Matson US teams in sales, customer service, operations, etc.

Essential Skills and Experience:
-4-year college degree and above with shipping background at sales manager level;
-More than 5 years of work experience in multinational companies, 5 year team management or overall management experience in a container liner shipping company;
-Excellent leadership, interpersonal, communication, analytical and problem solving skills;
-A team player with highest integrity, while possessing entrepreneurial spirit, raw intelligence and a mature demeanor;
-Willingness to operate in a challenging work environment and sustain a high performance level;
-Fluent in English and Chinese both speaking and writing.

        美森的CLX(China Long Beach Express)集装箱周班服务始航于2006年2月，依次***宁波，上海，然后直达美国长滩港，夏威夷火奴鲁鲁中国香港，关岛及冲绳港。上海至长滩全程10.5天，长滩港船到后隔天于港区外堆场便捷提货，开创了航运业界“快捷准时”新概念。通过支线船连接，美森也将服务延伸到了厦门，盐田，珠三角流域及中国香港，东南亚等区域。
        随着市场需求变化，为了满足跨境卖家和传统中美贸易客人在全球疫情背景下日益增长的运输多频次，美森在2020年7月官宣将加班船航线常态化，并命名为美森捷航CLX+。
        无论是美森快航CLX或是美森捷航CLX+，都以精益求精的服务理念和服务标准作为追求，打造跨太平洋精品航线。目前，美森已在上海、宁波、厦门、深圳和香港设立办公室。

Founded in 1882, Matson Navigation Company is one of the leading U.S.ocean shipping carriers. Matson is the first company providing TransPacific container liner service in 1967. Matson is a NYSE-listed public company (NYSE: MATX). The company is headquartered in Honolulu and also has offices in over 20 major cities in the US.
In February 2006, Matson launched a new weekly liner service from Long Beach, California, to Ningbo and Shanghai, using five 2600-TEU containerships. In May 2009, we introduced Xiamen port to our CLX service scope. The company has offices in Shanghai, Ningbo, Xiamen, Shenzhen, and Hong Kong. In China, the company pioneered the concept and accomplished the goal of 12-day availability from Shanghai to Long Beach.
