QC Inspector will work for Matalan.

Job role
To manage the daily running of the QC department ensuring all deliveries are checked and all necessary relevant documentation completed in a timely manner.


Key Responsibilities

1. To inspect product ensuring it meets company specification and standards, aided by Web PDM and the Buying department
2. Check product identification against purchase orders
3. Complete relevant report documentation identifying actions where required
4. To alert product/delivery failures to relevant parties, communicating action on held goods to the Distribution Centre where appropriate
5. Ensure inspection and cycle of referral takes place within strict deadlines, ensuring efficient product flow through the DC
6. Undertake in-house processing as required
