Responsibilities:
1. Develops and review DV/PV test plan and reports.
2. Develops and review Functional test Specification
3. Develops and review SW validation documents.
4. Develops, maintains and purchases Test equipment.
5. Analyzes test spec of each customer and converter that into TAKATA internal test plan.
6. Develops and review EOL.
7. Trouble Shoot tester issues.
8. Analyzes Test requirements to determine feasibility of test resource within time and cost constraints.
9. Consults with software engineers, hardware engineers and system engineers to analyze product issues which are founded during test.
10. Develops and directs software testing procedures and documentation.
11. Manage the schedule and resource of vehicle crash test.
12. Consults with the third part lab and vendors for testing and test equipment.
13. Managing the Test team to collect the customer requirement and concerns combined with internal test requirement, find out test solution, and implement it. Trouble-shooting and analyze test issue from outside and inside.
14. Improving test process and methods to get high quality and high efficiency test.
15. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company’s policy including interviewing, hiring and training employees.
16. Managing Test lab according to ISO 17025.
Qualifications
1. General knowledge of engineering testing and measurement and processing.
2. Good computer software and programming knowledge. Proficient in productivity software (i.e., Microsoft Office,etc.)
3. Fluent English language both in oral and written.
4. Good communication and interpersonal skills, able to work independently and as part of team.
5. Familiar with occupant safety system and vehicle designs and testing is a plus.
6. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Mechanical Engineering /Automotive Engineering or its equivalent.
7. Minimum 3-5 years experience in engineering testing in automotive or similar industry.
