Quality Engineer(Electronics)

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Product Category - Electrical Appliance / Personal Care.
• Participate Pilot Production Run.
• Key company resource to qualify products with PE via PPRP (Pilot Production Run Process). Candidate must evaluate production processes to ensure they are conforming to product requirements and known standards.
• Must be able to perform root-cause-analysis for the return and work with PE and drive full implementation of corrective action for process and product related concerns.
• Responsible for supplier continual improvement activities to enhance overall deliverable quality via methods such as: 5S, six sigma, etc.
• Interface frequently with PE and factory to communicate key quality issues relating to product or process.
• Must work closely with Quality Inspectors to ensure that key quality nonconformities are addressed at the supplier level and improvement is achieved before next inspection.
• Analyze failure, corrective and preventive action to respond to customer complaints.
• Creation and maintenance of CAR(corrective action report), PAR(preventative action report).
• Develop Inspection Plan for supplier and QC.
• Drive a return reduction to work with PE for product design improvement and supplier manufacturing process improvement.
• Review the supplier performance and the quality data such as return status and pass rate of pre-shipment inspection. Discuss with the supplier for the improvement plan.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Reside in or around Ningbo City is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Quality Engineering or other related disciplines.
• 3+ years related work experience in Quality Engineering or Manufacturing in: Electrical Appliance / Personal Care product.
• Knowledge of QS9000, ISO9000, 5S, Six Sigma, and internal control system audit skills.
• Must be self-motivated individual with strong interpersonal/communication skills;
• Must be fluent in English written communication, oral English communication a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word/Excel/Access/PowerPoint)
