Job Title: National Sales Manager – fresh fruit, Dole China
Reports to: Solid line - GM of Dole China, Dot line – CFO of Dole China
Close Cowork: Branch office Managers
Direct reports: KA Manager, Marketing Manager, Regional sales Manager
Location: Shanghai, China
Role Summary:
The role of National Sales Manager – fresh fruit will be responsible for driving the business performance (P&L) of China, as well as develop and execute the fresh fruit within China to achieve DOLE ‘s strategic objective ( including volume, revenue, EBITDA, Gross Profit, Selling Price, SMD).
Reporting to GM of DOLE China, the position is responsible for managing the marketing team, HQ KA team, Regional Sales team.
As a leader of DOLE China fresh fruit Business, this successful candidate will be focus on initiating business objective, business plan (including target customer and extensive category portfolio), sales channel development and customers maintaining plan, business growth, and people growth.
Responsibilities / Accountabilities
A. Business Management
? Efficiently and effectively manage DOLE’s short and long term financial position
? Develop/ execute annual business operating plan, building strategic relationships with key domestic & international retailers, distributors, and customers across China.
? Grow sales volumes, margin contribution and market share in China.
? Reviewing and monitoring the financial and business performance of DOLE on a monthly basis and ensuring staff, and management are carrying out the necessary actions to ensure the company achieves budget and preserving the ongoing fiscal viability of the company through the application of sound business management practices and cash management techniques;
? The preparation and presentation of a concise but comprehensive monthly business review meeting report to GM and CFO.
B. Leadership and Management
? Provide empowering and effective leadership that results in the development of a motivated workforce, harmonious team spirit and minimises employment relations risks
? Act as a role model of professional commitment and sound business management
? Build an environment that values and encourages the delivery of exceptional service and continually looks for ways to maintain professionalism and the credibility of the Company
? Recruiting competent staff and/or contractors for all critical roles
? Directing staff performance by establishing annual objectives and training plans, following up (and coaching as needed), and recording what has been agreed/ completed
C. Strategic Leadership
? Provide significant contribution to organization leadership through being a member of the management team whose responsibility includes overall strategy, direction and guidance to the organization and promotion of collaboration across the teams
? Ensure DOLE has the capability and capacity to work towards their Vision
? To maintain a high level overview of communications on significant issues to promote clear messages and themes
Requirements:
- At least 10 years of experience in multinational Consumer Goods companies with extensive experience in sales and products management. At last 5 years in a head of sales and marketing management role with a successful track record in China market
- Good team leader/ player, strong relationship builder with excellent interpersonal skills, and a professional manner,
- With in depth understanding on sales & marketing operational aspects, strong analytical, strategic and planning abilities
- Ability to work effectively across organizations and cross culturally.
- Excellent interpersonal and strong communication skills to build lasting relationships and strategic partnerships both internally and externally.
