Purchasing and Logistics Supervisor

Position Summary:

Obtain best value for purchased materials to ensure production. Track and expedite shipments to and from the plant. Supervise on time shipments of customer orders.

Essential Functions:

· Reporting directly to the site General Operations Manager

· Select eligible suppliers compare price, quality, and credit not less in 2-3 suppliers.

· Purchase of production material, spare parts and plant supplies, obtain best value for purchased materials

· Supervise large quantities of purchasing plan or activities, and report timely.

· Purchase contract or document makes record and keep as requirements.

· Deal with the different on quality or quantity of material, spare parts and other supplies.

· Material market understands and analyzes regular and report timely.

· Control material delivery date effective.

· Track and expedite shipments to and from the facility, movement of products and materials involving third party logistics providers

· Supervise on time shipments of samples and finished goods and other shipments from the factory

· Import and export of materials or products

· Supervise warehouse operation, including receiving production materials and monitor the inventory of material, finished goods inventory coordination and other warehouse operations

· Maintain proper inventory value of raw material and plant supplies, follow company procedures to track inventory

· Business system interaction to create and maintain records

· Learn and understand well on China law, local Office rules, Customer Office and Environment regulations for Purchase and Logistics business.

· Charge of this department staffs management and well training to minimize turnover and satisfied workforce focused on quality, safety, operational excellence, and continuous learning.

· Support and complete Quality system, EHS system documentation and ensure the work processes are correctly as the rules.

· Control and record the department staffs attendance monthly.

· Lead and implement company policies operating very well.

· Support and cooperate with company team activities and make useful suggestion on obtaining peak performance.

· Good communication and writing skill, build ongoing relationship with other department.

Education, experience and other skills required:

1. Five or more years experience in purchasing or Logistics management role of a manufacturing company inside China.

2. University degree in manufactures, technology, finance or economics,

3. Fluent oral and written English

4. Good computer skill

5. Good communication and management Skill

6. Know very well on law, local policy on purchase and logistics business area.
