The primary responsibilities of this position is to assure supplier and carrier compliance to support customer(s) Statement of Work for In-Bound Supply Programs. This position will require a bi-lingual individual capable to communicate with Chinese based suppliers and carriers as well as N. American and European nV SCS Control Tower Associates.

Key Accountabilities:
? Advocate as a single point of contact for assigned customers
? Provide direct quality customer care to ensure customers’ expectations are exceeded
? Recommend improvements and cost savings solutions
? Support Client Processes
? Efficient Planning of transportation (e.g. consolidation, allocation of orders)
? Independent resolution of job related issues including right priority setting
? Assure correct carrier rates
? Pro-active exception management and issue resolution
? Identify waste in processes

Facilitation and Communication:
? Follow processes ad guidelines (including customer specific working instructions).
? Monitor exceptions of planned activities and follow up on discrepancies
? Build Strong internal and external business relationships
? Assist Control Tower Supervisor and Manager in day to day operations management
? Act as single point of contact for local Client representatives
? Work closely with Client and LSP’s and other regional control towers

Monitoring / Quality:
? Monitor all operations and information systems
? Ensure precise and timely administrative completion of transport orders
? Fulfill customer and carrier expectations (e.g. KPI fulfillment, appropriate customer communication)
? High focus on processes
? Must be fully trained in nV SCS (POV/iVisibility/Shipments Module)
? Administration and Reporting:
Create and/or run customer specific reports and provide to customer as required
? Support our 3PL provider with bookings with carriers.
? Coordinate and optimize the container volumes (CBM) for consolidated Supplier shipments
? Purchase Order support by follow up to the suppliers and be the main contact to our 3PL provider regards upcoming orders/shipments.
? Maintain and update iShip/POV system modules
? Rate and Route Shipments through the iShip Module
? Manual data entry of carrier status when lacking interfaces
? Distribute Reports to Client
? Upload documents to the nVision SCS Document Imaging Tool
? Confirm vessel reservation based on Shipment Plan

Essential Skills:

? Willingness to develop an understanding of the various modes of transportation
? International shipping experience
? Ability to become skilled in auditing international documentation to ensure compliance of governmental rules and regulations
? Computer skills (Microsoft Office – Excel/Word/PowerPoint)
? Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin
? Good multi-tasking skills
