Tasks description:
Drive end to end sourcing cycle to successful completion
1.Screen and pre-select potential suppliers through a Request For Information (RFI) in order to establish a shortlist of suppliers to include in the RFP process
2.Build and administer Request For Proposals (RFPs)
3.Conduct supplier quality audits
4.Analyse supplier responses to RFPs and develop negotiation strategies
5.Develop Business Case documents
6.Carry out fact based negotiations with suppliers
7.Participate in recommendations about which supplier(s) to select
8.Manage clients'POs
9.Conduct QC at supplier factory
Communicate effectively with Dragon Sourcing client to ensure buy-in throughout the entire sourcing process
Manage people
1.Apply and transfer own knowledge and expertise to other team members in order to maximize team performance
2.Set objectives and targets for Buying Analysts and review performance
3.Actively participate in recruitment activities
Qualifications:
1.Academic background: University degree, preferably in engineering and/or business administration, economics or other relevant discipline
2.A recognized qualification in procurement would be considered an asset
3.Experience: In depth knowledge of specific commodity areas is expected, with at least 3-5 years of professional experience in procurement, preferably working for a western industrial or retail organization with some experience working outside of China
4.Language skills: Proficiency in Chinese (for Shanghai) and Vietnamese (for HCMC) and English is essential. Working proficiency in French is also an asset
5.PC skills: High proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word

·Lead the external supply market analysis in collaboration with Sourcing Analysts
·Develop and maintain database of key suppliers and suppliers' capabilities
·Develop strong relationships with network of key stakeholders strategically relevant for categories under supervision
·Codify all knowledge gained through client projects and supply market research into "category workbooks"
Drive Chinese sourcing workstreams on client engagements Stage 1 work
·Using DragonSourcing methodology, be able to conduct high level category analysis across a client's entire spend portfolio
·Integrate effectively with European DragonSourcing to integrate Chinese supply marjet findings into final client report
