Responsibility

· Report to Engineering Manager

· Assist with the design and analysis of remote control airplanes to ensure that requirements are met.

· Assist in the design of aerodynamic surfaces for optimal flight performance utilizing computer assisted tools.

· Define flight testing requirements, participate in tests, and analyze test results.

· Utilize previous test results to predict the performance of future products, while ensuring compliance with appropriate regulatory requirements and rules.

· Assist with qualification processes of remote control airplanes.

· Define market requirements to support development of new models.

· Assignments also include manufacturing supervision, make sure the product is manufactured according to design parameter.

· Keep record of all the engineering changes for future models developments.

Requirements

· University graduate or above in Areo-dynamic, Fluid Dynamic or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent

· Fundamental knowledge of aerodynamic analysis principles for remote control flight vehicles

· Basic ability to perform assigned aerodynamic analysis tasks under close supervision and direction

· Minimum 5 years experience in remote control airplane / glider product development, with at least 2 years hand on experience in toy grade RC airplane / glider product design

· Knowledge in 2.4GHz remote controls, motors, propellers and 3D engineering drawing such as Solidwork or Pro-Engineer

· Understand FCC, UL, ETL, RoHS, R&TTE & related IEC Directives

· Need frequent travel to manufacturing facilities in Southern China

· Demonstrated initiative from project or team leadership experience is highly desired.

· Strong presentation ability and communication skills (both verbal & written Chinese & English).
