ABOUT DIRECT HR:

Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Management
- To review and administer HR & Admin policies and procedures to ensure the full compliance with the local governance standards.
- Assist in supervision and management of day-to-day operations by administering full spectrum of professional services to cope with various business needs.
- Responsible in devise, implement and on-going review the HR policies and retention strategies to improve productivity, job satisfaction, attraction and retention of employee.
- Support and implement the Succession Planning at site level.
- To play as a change catalyst to drive for change and implement new initiative when necessary.


HR Information System
- To fully utilize and update the current HRIS to manage the different HR functions.
- To provide timely management report


Recruitment
- Process all local recruitment requests in effective and efficient manner from advertisement, screen, evaluate and extended employment to selected applicants.
- Managing orientation program for new employee to the business and culture.


Compensation & Benefit
- Assist in reviewing C&B policies and procedures and recommend appropriate guidelines/provide inputs to enhance efficiency and effectiveness, for market alignment, organization needs and the latest employment ordinances to comply with the legislation. Provide recommendation to Regional HR Executive Director - Asia for any variance and the local management when appropriate.
- To evaluate local remuneration program & provide recommendation for improvement.
- Oversee payroll administration and to make sure all necessary coordination to make a smooth and efficient operation & prepare report after payroll closing.
- Participate the external salary survey and analyze the data to design the competitive package.
- Handle tax and insurance management.
- Handle annual salary increase and incentive calculations and staff movement.

Performance Management
- Work with Regional HR team and responsible for developing and implementing Performance Excellence Program which includes the performance evaluation, performance improvement policy, disciplinary policy and rewards and recognition.


Training & Development
- In consultation with line managers, follow up individual development needs and source external training provision as and when required, monitoring training costs against budget.
- To deliver internal training on leadership skills, team building, and any training related to HR policies and systems.
- Closely work with the regional HR team to deliver and coordinate in conducting in house and public course with training provider.
- Administer the evaluation of all training and development activities

Administration
- To supervise the Administration Department and manage the company canteen, dormitory, security management and cleansing services.

Requirements:
Degree holder with formal training in Human Resource Management.
Over 10 years’ relevant managerial experience, with exposure in multinational or sizeable organization.
Approachable, patient, pro-active, presentable & mature.
Demonstrate the highest level of ethical behavior. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information. High integrity and trust.
Always think in the best interest of company and speak for the interest of employees.
Able to work independently.
HR Professional knowledge: Well versed with China Labour Law and other related legislations.
Communication skill: Able to communicate well with all levels of staff. Excellent verbal and written English and Mandarin. Good listening skill.
