Job Description
The Sales Support – Area North and Central, China is responsible to:
?Handle quotations for customers
?File agreed rates in Hapag Lloyd systems
?Coordinate with customers on space forecast
?Promote Hapag Lloyd new products
?Handle/co-ordinate complaints or objections
Duties and Responsibilities
?Quotations
oHandle quotations through FIS
oUpon received confirmations from customers file agreed rates in FIS
?Customer maintenance
oEnsure the monthly KPI of number of calls be met
oCollate space forecasts from customers and coordinate with Sales Steering
?Sales support
?
oHandle/co-ordinate complaints or objections
oLiase with CS and BA for rate dispute
oHandle Customer Data Management (local FIS Organization Catalog administration)
oPromote new products to our customers e.g. intermodal services to our customers
oCommunicate with customers on advisories e.g. GRI, service changes The Sales Steering Intern is responsible to:
?Manage Customer Allocation List to protect regular CIF and FOB customers
?Consolidate and review 2 weeks rolling forecasts from sales
?Generate daily booking reports
?Generate CL2 reports
?Generate downfall reports
?Provide most optimal connections with space protection for load ports without direct calls
?Optimize vessel utilization
?Coordinate with Trade management and Slot controllers on space allocations
Reporting
?Generate daily booking reports
?Generate downfall reports
?Generate CL2 reports
Allocation Management
?Consolidate and review input from sales on Customer Allocations
?Secure adequate space on feeders and ocean carriers
?Co-ordinate on roll-over list when required
Optimize utilization
?Communicate with offices to generate more light cargoes
?Seek for best alternatives in case regular allocations are full
?Update sales with best connections as well as optimal slings
Requirements:
University or above in relevant major
?Basic PC skills
?Good interpersonal, communication and coordination skill
?Floency in English and Mandarin
?At least 3-4 days work per week
