职位描述
Roles & Responsibilities
1. Understand both in terms of cost and specification assigned project deliverables set by the Purchasing Manager in their specific account, making sure the vendor fully understands and complies with all the requirements set out in the RFQ.
2. Analyze the data received, making sure the price is correct, all the testing criteria, packaging and shipment requirements, are acknowledged.
3. Provide the solution to the Purchasing Manager on assigned project deliverables in the timeframe allocated and update the ERP system under sales transaction or goods master with the correct vendor, price, MOQ, tooling cost, packaging information. Escalate any problems in a timely manner to facilitate a prompt solution.
4. Ensure stability of purchase costs for at least 6 months with an optimum of 12 months.
5. Support projects from initial request all the way through to approval and order placement.
6. Negotiate enhancements to trading terms and build relationships with vendors so that all prices and lead times are the best at the first time of asking.
7. Work with Purchasing Manager to proactively identify and qualify new product sources and potential vendors.
8. Continually seek for new sources of product at equal and/or better quality and cost, ensure company procedures and working instructions are adhered to when setting up any new vendors, guide vendors on how to make items fit for selling purposes.
9. Deliver proposals on reengineering of low margin products.
10.Build interdepartmental relationships and ensure clear and concise communication with all colleagues to drive maximum efficiency across the business.
Requirements
1. Minimum 5 years of working experience in sourcing, price negotiation and vendor selection.
2. Experience in working for a trading business in similar ranges will be preferable.
3. Experience in value engineering and reducing product costs.
4. Good negotiation skills with vendors.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to sell the opportunity of doing business with the company in the early stages, understand how to develop a relationship with vendors.
6. Ability to work under own initiative with minimum supervision.
7. Dynamic, hands on and with "can do" attitude in a high-growth, fast-paced and demanding environment.
8. Good project management and prioritization skills.
9. Good command of both written and spoken English.公司介绍
