Main tasks include the following,

1. To plan and prioritize procurement activities
2. To create and place POs and customer forecasts to suppliers with all relevant documents
3. Ensure supplier order acknowledgement
4. Review,update and maintain open POs until closed
5. Identify and within the frame of responsibility,handle extra costs
6. Expedite incoming material and report shortage to relevant internal functions
7. Postpone incoming material according to manufacturing plan
8. Cancel relevant POs when applicable
9. Report and handle non-conformances to supplies
10. Invoice control and discrepancies investigation
11. Prepare non BOM POs if relevant
12. To participate in supplier follow up meetings if applicable
13. Identify opportunities and implement actions to reduce wasted time,money and resources from assigned tasks
14. To continuously monitor risk and improve quality
15. Interface with other process functions when applicable or relevant
16. Participation in company projects and performing other by management delegated tasks related with the direct duties

Qualifications and competence requirements

1. Education at relevant university level within supply chain ,manufacturing or engineering
2. Lack of formal education may be substituted by relevant work experience
3. Analytical,structured and be able to influence change
4. Experience with ERP systems and general good computer skills
5. Strong English language skills,both oral and written
