1. GENERAL SUMMARY:
Manage a complex set of relationships (forecasts, backlog, shipment budgets, inventory strategies, factory loading, lead time etc.) to ensure the master schedules support on-time-delivery, proper production levels, business unit objectives, customer expectations, shipment budgets, and minimum inventory.

2. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
a) Lead the Planning Department to receive the demands from all customers to make the MPS report and keep all customers well informed for the deliveries status;
b) Arrange weekly production according to order request date, production capacity and material readiness.
c) Timely communicate with the Production Department for the production plan and follow up for its execution and refine the plan when necessary;
d) Timely interact with purchasing team to ensure all materials supply plan is well aligned with production plan and coordinate cross functions when any factors which negative influence the production plan to keep the 100% on time delivery to customers.
e) Department daily management and coach, develop subordinates of their professional skills to establish effective team.
f) Project phase in and phase out control in supply chain.
g) Lead some supply chain improving projects like Demand fluctuation control and OTD improve.
h) Others tasks assigned by Material manager


3. REQUIREMENTS:
a) Bachelors degree in business and 5 years related experience in planning or purchasing, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
b) In-depth knowledge and demonstrated abilities of understanding production planning, capacity estimate, material supply, inventory control and customer service.
c) To be able to communicate and coordinate other dept functions people to make proper PSI for meeting customer requirement and feedback any abnormal issue to top management.
d) To be responsible, proactively, and team work spirit.
e) Be familiar with Oracle or other ERP system.
f) Be familiar with word, excel and other MS office software
g) Good English skill is needed

4. MEASUREMENT:
a) Level loading for production plan
b) On time delivery of customer orders
c) Minimize finish goods inventory consistent with PD/KPI in factory
d) Reasonable customer demand fluctuation.
