This position will provide you a better knowledge of shipping industry, global trade, and sales and marketing.

Key responsibilities

?Call customers to identify and pre-qualify opportunities, and handover to sales

?Deliver prepared sales talk to promote our products, services, Maersk Line brand to potential customers through database calling and marketing

?Identifies prospects by searching/checking customers, telephone other prepared listings

?Obtain customers’ information and input into computer

?Secures information by completing data base backups

?Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Skills Required

? Actively manages call flow

? Capable of managing outbound call targets

? Is a clear communicator

?Good research skill

? Knowledge of shipping industry preferable

? Microsoft Office applications basic, ability to learn other systems quickly

Competencies

You must be an extrovert character and result oriented as well as capable of fast decision making and handling objections. You are a self-starter, with excellent communication and phone selling skills.

At least 3 days/week , > half a year preferable
