Job Requirements:

1. Bachelor degree or above, major in Electrical Engineering, wireless or equivalent.
2. Minimum 5 years experience in household/consumer electronics industry or related field.
3. Sound knowledge of electrical design, test and analyze .
4. Knowledge of UL/IEC and regional agency requirements will be an advantage.
5. Good command of oral and written English, good teamwork.
6. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
7. Good problem solving skills and project management and leading ability.
8. PC literate including Ms office/Illustrator/Photoshop/Auto CAD.
9. Be able to travel frequently.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Provide engineering technical supports for marketing, purchasing, sales, QA, customer service and vendors.
2. Review drawings to give comments and recommendations to marketing/suppliers prior to mould development.
3. For off the shelf product, perform quick tests, give comments and recommendations to vendor to improve before qualification test.
4. Plan out the schedule for new project, ensure on-time qualification test to keep original schedule.
5. Create product performance specification, arrange & monitor qualification tests, instruct vendors to improve products to meet all targets.
6. Perform failure analysis. Work with vendors to resolve all related engineering issues.
7. Provide MDS (marketing data sheets) for marketing, sales and graphic department.
8. Follow up agency approval, like UL, ETL, CE, GS, MEPS, CEC, Energy Star, etc.
9. Rating labels, labels, artworks, Instruction Bulletin-----recommending, checking & approving.
10. Follow up package development and instruct vendors.
11. Create & release documents (ECO, PS, AS, package sheet) to vendor and all team members, let vendors to understand and follow documents to produce right and high quality goods.
12. Communicate with marketing and vendors to ensure the implementation of updated process or engineering change. 13. Providing CI ideas to marketing & purchasing for decision making.
14. Arrange the relevant qualification test for CI changes.
15. Release documents (ECO, PS, AS, package sheet) to implement CI changes.
16. Factory audit and explain product qualification procedure (EB, PT, LP, FR), testing requirement & standards, date code requirement, shipping marks and other concerns to vendors.
17. Work closely with purchasing team and participate in sourcing new projects in the early stage.
