职位描述
Area of responsibility
· Be responsible for EMR (Equipment Maintenance and Repair) in specific ports in East China Cluster
· EMR technical management
Essential Job tasks
· Daily estimates handling in MERC+: approve, reject, total loss, redelivery, etc.
· Monitor repair shop’s performance and ensure ML EMR policy and requirement are followed, such as inspection &repair efficiency and quality, OOS status, unit cost, estimation correctness, 3P identification correctness, HSSE, etc.
· Perform official depot audit and ad-hoc shop visit to ensure repair shops meet ML standard and requirement.
· Make sure all findings in depot audit reports are followed up by repair shops.
· Prepare monthly repair cost report for each repair shop and consolidate all required information to send to
GSC for payment arrangement.
· Claim back repair cost from repair shops in case overseas EMR or customers provide evidence to proof IR
(Improper Repair) or service failure due to repair shop’s poor performance.
· Handle customers’ EMR related complaint or argument base on EMR policy.
· Conduct TCO assessment for new EMR suppliers.
· Monitor 3P tracing abroad, arrange containers for disposal and redelivery together with OPSEQU.
· Provide technical guidance to repair shops.
· Provide technical support to EQU/CUS/SAL in ML.
· Consolidate technical suggestions and feedback to EMR manager.
· Identify technical training needs and arrange appropriate technical trainings from time to time to repair
shops.
· Monitor GSC performance on EMR related off-shored tasks.
· Coordinate OPSEQU to follow up TTL (Total Loss declaration).
· Other tasks or projects assigned by EMR manager.
Objectives of the position
· Deliver various EMR related operations targets.
· Improve repair shops’ EMR productivity and efficiency to minimize Out of Service (OOS) volume.
· Improve inspection and repair quality to achieve variance is less than 5%.
· Improve repair quality to eliminate IR (Improper Repair) and achieve IR claim is less than 0.1% of total
repair cost.

· Learn reefer container technology.
Specific requirements for the position
· At least 5 years technical experience in container industry.
· IICL certificated preferred.
· Good understanding of container industry in China.
· Fluency in both written and oral English skill.
· Strong communication and interaction skill.
· Enable frequent depot audit and on-site visit.
· Initiative, drive and follow up.
