职位描述
Reports to: Senior Project Manager
Location: Shenzhen Office
The Projects Manager will oversee all projects (from design to production) and production schedules. Finalize projects according to strict deadlines and insure all shipments of quality products depart on time. This includes assigning resources and coordinating the efforts of Weber team members, vendors and parent company in order to meet the plans.
Qualification requirements:
1. 4 year university degree in Mechanical / Manufacturing engineering or related disciplines
2. Minimum 10-12 years working experiences in a manufacturing environment. Project management experience is a must
3. Strong management and communication skills to oversee multiple project teams and co-ordinations with vendors and home office
4. Excellent presentation and negotiation skill with strong product knowledge.
5. Strong sense of responsibility, detail-minded, and able to work independently
6. Must be a team player
7. Written and oral fluency in English and Mandarin
8. International exposure in dealing with oversea customers would be an advantage
Duties:
1. Plan for and manage the Project Management Department consisting of 3-5 project teams
2. Oversee and supervise OEM/ODM project teams for China vendors in conjunction with US HQ for timely implementation of various supply base migration and NPI projects to ensure critical milestones are on schedule
3. Work directly with staff and vendors, as required, to prepare for production, ensure production capacities and capabilities can meet our requirements.
4. Responsible for leading and managing whole NPI activities, fully understand the quality and technical requirement from HQ and interface with supplier.
5. Establish an effective tooling management program to keep track of all Weber’s tooling’s consigned to suppliers
6. Supervise the Packaging Engineer and work with the US Engineering team to develop the packaging requirements of new design and existing products.
7. Provide daily leadership for all our employees assigned to multiple projects.
8. Work closely with vendors, QA team and HQ resources to resolve QA and production issues.
9. Set and continually manage project/production/quality expectations with team members.
10. Ensure products ship according to QA standards and on schedule.
11. Identify and manage any project dependencies and critical path.
12. Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and vendors, and influence them to take positive actions and to be accountability for their respective work.
13. Participate in weekly conference calls with the USA, or/and vendors and team members.
