For the Nexeo Asia Finance Department in China, we are looking for:

Accounting Manager

Responsibilities

Primary roles:
-Own overall accounting/auditing/tax filing activities
-Ensure compliance with PRC GAAP & US GAAP requirements / Sarbanes-Oxley (“SOX”);
-Direct manager of 2 accountants


Main responsibilities:
-Lead the month end and quarter end closing activities, prepare monthly PRC and US GAAP financial statements
-Supervise AP/AR activities and lead 2 accountants
-Ensure timely and accurate reconciliation of US Reporting, Statutory Reporting and Local Tax Return
-Coordinate and/or prepare adjusting entries that are needed based on monitoring of financial results during the month and closing
-Prepare internal management reporting (weekly, monthly and quarterly) for Nexeo’s US management team
-Prepare tax provision package based on US team requirement
-Identify country specific Legal & Statutory requirements (e.g. content, format, filing due dates, penalties)
-Manage relationship with tax authorities and ensure that the specific legal requirements are met in accordance with the country specific deadlines


Requirements

-Bachelor’s degree in Accounting;
-Proficient understanding of PRC GAAP and US GAAP reporting;
-Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a multinational environment or Big 4 audit firm;
-Experience with Internal Controls (SOX);
-Pro-active, hands on mentality, convincing, motivated and team player;
-Able to influence at different levels internally with proven experience in managing virtual teams
-Previous experience in SAP is a plus;
-Fluent in English and Chinese
