Responsibilities:

. Prepare inspection itinerary upon receipt of inspection schedule form the QC co-ordinator

. Double check necessary information and other reference materials in the QC file are on hand before inspection

. Double confirm with factories on the scheduled inspection date & time

. Conduct quality inspections base on AQL standard before shipment allowed

. Report findings of quality inspection result promptly to the office

. Arrange for production query sample or shipment sample to be sent from factory to our office after inspection (when required)

. Work well with vendor/factory management to correct quality problem

. Check with merchandisers and coordinator to clarify any query point found during inspection, & follow up accordingly

. Prepare weekly inspection result statistical report & submit on time


Requirements:

. Technical qualification in the products handled

. Minimum 5 years relevant experience, preferably in garment production, with pre-production meeting, Inline inspection, final inspn & factory technical audit experience will be an advantage

. Good understanding of quality requirements for the products handled and AQL system

. Well versed in every steps of the production control & process, & strong in identifying production & quality issues during in-line inspection, & able to advise the vendor/factory management to carry out the necessary corrective action plan right away in meeting with the required quality standard

. Firm & tactful character, with good interpersonal skill to work with factory people for problem solving under pressure, & also internal merchant team

. Hard working & able to with stand pressure to complete tasks assigned efficiently & affectively within deadline, & at the same time able to maintain the quality gate

. Proficiency in English & Putonghua for effective report writing and communication with factory people in China
