Position:
Project Manager (Spanish) - Steel Casting Machining
Responsibilities:
- For the ongoing projects being manufactured in China, control adequate delivery times, transportation issues, import export documentation.
- Coordinate with the involved departments in the organization (purchases, quality, warehouse, workshop), and make sure that the schedule is fulfilled.
- Learn how to use the corporate project management tool (Baan). Long learning time with the help of the Spain team is expected.
- Interpreter Function: Come together to meetings, business trips, visits coming from abroad, and conference calls, in order to translate from/to Chinese and English among the different people. Translate text and documents (including technical documents from/to Chinese, English and Spanish).
Profile:
- Chinese person. Perfect written and spoken Spanish and English.
- At least 2 years of experience, including work for foreign companies and/or dealing with purchases or sales in China.
- High skill with computers. Some experience as a user of any ERP would be desirable.
- Some technical background or experience (in mechanical parts) would be desirable.
