Responsibility:
1. Monitors the delivery of customer orders to ensure that commitments made to customers are met.
2. Pro-actively reviews with top management the execution of plans and activities of the department and its relation to the annual operations plan.
3. Review, develops and implements production control and inventory control systems for the operation .
4. Establishes budgets and controls expenses.
5. Control inventory turn over times to meet inventory turns target.
Qualification:
1. Bachelor degree in Materials Management, Business Administration or an equivalent;
2. Minimum 8 years relevant experience of which 5 years in the managerial position in a manufacturing environment.
3. Broad knowledge of the supply base and in-depth knowledge of production planning are required;
4. Proficient with ERP system is required, QAD is plus;
5. Extremely strong skills with proven track record in communication, leadership, business analysis, process development, administration, and change management are required, attention to detail and ability to work well with teams is also required.
6. Experience with manufacturing is a plus.
