a) Job Details:
The Quality Inspector will be responsible for conducting quality control (QC) inspections/verifications, quality control metrics and testing on manufacturing supplies. This also includes the checking of information for the products, shipping marks, etc. The QC Inspector shall comply with AQL standards,and other applicable requirements and regulations.
b) Requirements:
- 25-35 years old
- Male
- A minimum of 1 year experience inspecting textiles and fabric.
- Studies: College Graduate with Textile Background.
- Computer Skills: Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Pdf.
- Good Working knowledge of Quality Systems.
c) Abilities:
- Proactive & Dynamic.
- Organized.
- Honest & Responsible.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Punctual and hard working.
- Work under pressure.
- Willing to travel (within China).
d) Languages:
- English(written and spoken).
e) Responsibilities:
- Ensure mill compliance with established product specification and production processes.
- Under the direction of the Manager,Warehouse and Quality Control;carry out QC inspection on fabrics at the point of manufacture
- Visit prospective supplier facilities and carry out the groundwork required for due diligence
–Identifies supply chain risks and contributes to risk assessment
–Prepares reports on mill and product inspections for relevant stakeholders
–Draft inspection certificates
–Implements action in conjunction with the suppliers, the Market Development and Operations functions to repair quality issues
–Schedules both planned and surprise visits to critical supplier plants
–Primary point of contact for supplier shop-floor and operations/quality issues in the field
–Develop systems, processes and procedures that increase the probability of quality results
–Special projects as required by the Manager, Warehouse and Quality Control and the Market Development team
