ABOUT DIRECT HR:
DIRECT HR IS A PREMIUM CHINA-FOCUSED RECRUITMENT FIRM SPECIALIZED IN SUPPORTING LEADING EUROPEAN, AMERICAN AND CHINESE EMPLOYERS WITH THEIR TALENT ACQUISITION IN CHINA.

Our client is an international company in the Agricultural field.

Weifang, Shandong Province, China
Reporting to:
Manager
Travelling:
Rarely
Recruitment process:
+ Telephone interviews
+ Face-to-face interviews
Responsibilities:
+ Supporting of international team with various translations, common as well as technical (agricultural, engineering related)
+ Preparation of (partly very technical) translations from mandarin to English or from Mandarin to German
+ Processing of related administrative tasks and responsibilities
+ Supporting of various ongoing projects in company with translation work
+ Support with negotiations if needed
+ Other tasks as assigned by management
Requirements:
+ Either an official degree of translation between either Mandarin to English OR Mandarin to German (both strongly preferred)
+ Or a bachelor degree or higher in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or mechatronics
+ Several years of relevant working experience in translation in similar field
+ Experience in supporting of negotiations, best between intercultural parties, strongly preferred
+ Knowledge of Chinese agriculture industry, market OR experience in similar field (automotive) strongly preferred
+ Good knowledge of MS Office
+ General computer literate
+ Willing and able to work pro-actively and openly in a intercultural team
+ Be not only a translator between foreign and Chinese side, but also be motivated to help both sides to grow together more
+ Excellent communication skills
+ Native Chinese Mandarin speaker
+ Absolutely fluent in either GERMAN or ENGLISH, best BOTH
