*** JOB OBJECTIVES ***
Manages materials team. Develops supplier strategy, long-range plans, global supply chain optimization in partnership with business partners. Responsible for sourcing and supplying raw materials as well coordinating global procurement efforts. Responsible for setting and achieving performance goals/metrics to improve total delivered/lifecycle value in regards to commodity cost, quality, technology and/or services. Responsible for implementing procurement initiatives and process improvements, and for getting feedback from regions on the success of MINTH’s global procurement programs.

*** MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES ***
1.Coordinate the plastics, chemicals, metals and other raw materials procurement,channel development and demand analyzing;
2.Assist the design center with the materials assessments and development of VAVE;
3.Directs the efforts of others in the achievement of the strategic and operational objectives of the group.
4.Manages the hiring, staffing and maintaining of a diverse and effective workforce.
5.Responsible for career development / planning, performance and pay discussions of team members.
6.Drives cross-functional strategic / operational commodity teams to drive MINTH towards a competitive advantage in the market place in specific areas such as Time-to-Market, Availability / Capacity, Cost, Quality, Technology and Service Level.
7.Plans and implements activities related to the timely, cost-effective procurement, inventory control, planning and quality control of production materials and/or outsourced services.
8.Develops, implements, and maintains policies, procedures, and material control systems to reduce costs, streamline procedures, and implement solutions. Manages governance to ensure compliance with policies and processes.
9.Drives development and implementation of tools and processes to improve management practices for commodities and / or spend categories, and shares that learning with other groups.
10.Accountable for improving supplier performance and negotiating contracts and global pricing.
11.Calibrates and shares best practices with counterparts across the globe.
12.Implements procurement policies and procedures.
13.Accountable for supply / demand and global cost forecasting for a specific commodity area or spend categories.

*** QUALIFICATION ***
1. 5+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
2. University degree in engineering, materials science,supply chain management or international trade.
3. Good written and spoken English
4. The ones with global sourcing / automobile related industry experience are preferred.
