Position Title : EHS Specialist
Location : Ningbo, Zhejiang, China
Report to : EHS Supervisor – Ningbo Campus

Position Summary:

Working with WOFE Campus shared service EHS team in the implementation of Safety system (Global Star Safety Framework) and ISO14001 system; ensures compliance with OSHA, ISO14001, EHS laws and BW Corporate policies and procedures relating to Safety& Environment.

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities:

- Implementation EHS system (GSSF & ISO14001).
-Keeping up with changes in regulatory compliance issues and implementing changes as required in our

facilities.
- Develop EHS procedures and work instructions.
- Conduct EHS committee meeting and tracking all meeting minutes.
- Incidents investigation, EHS inspection analyzing and communicating EHS statistics to management team.
- Meeting government, BW global and the third part, communicate WOFE’s EHS requirements in team and track

result.
- Ensure that EHS inspection and audit programs are in place to identify and address potential hazards and/or

unsafe behavior to prevent injuries, illnesses and property damage. And track until closure.
- Monitor and collect each department EHS data (such as: incidents, findings, lost days), and report to

management team
- Make EHS training plan, and ensure all level’s employee get EHS training.
- Conduct evacuation drill or any emergency response drill.
- Hold various EHS activities to improve employee EHS awareness and creating EHS culture.
- Communicate with government (such as Environment, Safety, Occupational health, and fire department) regularly

about EHS issue.
- Any other tasks assigned by supervisor.

Requirements / Qualifications:

- BS in Safety, Health and/or Environmental or equivalent subjects;
- At least 3 years experience with safety and environment, industrial hygiene;
- Proficient computer based skills including database, spreadsheet, word processing and presentations.
- Good communication and team work skill, action oriented.
- Fluent English skill.
