JOB DESCRIPTION – HEAD CHEF

Reports to: General Manager
Direct Subordinates: Assistant Cooks

EXPERIENCE / SKILLS

- good knowledge of international cuisine and pastry
- a basic command of the English language
- a basic education as a Chef
- at least 5 years of practical experience in a hotel or restaurant (2 years experience in pastry is preferred)
- well versed in quality control and production control processes
- ability and willingness to travel internationally for corporate training

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Must be steeped in and compliant with corporate food standards
- Communication with associates, vendors and clients must be respectful, friendly and professional
- Guidelines and requests must be followed efficiently and faithfully
- Responsible for implementing working schedules for all kitchen personnel
- Responsible for proper stock levels and stock quality for all kitchen goods
- Continuously perform QC to ensure that all food and pastry products are executed to the highest quality standards
- Ensure the proper execution of standardized recipes and technologies
- Provide feedback and evaluations of direct subordinates on regular basis
- Implement corporate standards on food handling, sanitation and safety
- Maintain all machines and equipment in optimal order and good repair
- Implement initial and ongoing training for all kitchen personnel

Compensation

- 6000 – 8500 RMB depending on skills and experience level + benefits
- Growth potential based on meeting KPIs (key performance indicators)

-针对食品处理、卫生及安全实施企业标准
-维护所有的机器和设备，确保其最佳秩序和得到良好维修
-对所有厨房人员进行首次及持续性培训

待遇
-6000 - 8500元人民币+福利，具体根据技能和经验水平来定
-增长潜力根据KPI（关键绩效指标）会议而定
