Main tasks:

? Be responsible for tasks assigned to you by manager.
? Conduct all tasks with precision, care and attention to detail.
? Apply a sound scientific and logical approach to testing.
? Collect and methodically record all test results within a written work book and file database.
? Carry out dust removal testing procedures according to Hoover testing standards.
? Carry out dust removal testing procedures according to IEC 60312.
? Suggest and develop appropriate methods of testing when required.
? Develop and create new Hoover test procedures when required.
? Hand modeling of prototype dust removal systems.
? Specify purchase of test equipment when required.
? Be responsible for the running, maintenance and calibration of dust removal test room and all equipment.
? Modification of existing systems to allow appropriate tests to be conducted.
? Careful assembly and sealing of prototypes.
? Plan work activities and report time required for conducting and reporting tests.
? Contribute to the design of dust removal systems and analysis of competitor systems.
? Order or buy the required materials for the tests.
? Prepare test reports.

Requirements:

? Languages
Workable English. Written and oral.

? Education
Bachelor degree in Mechanical/Electronic Engineering or similar knowledge level

? Experience
At least two years of experience in small appliances (especially for motor-driven appliance or fabric care products) evaluating/verification or testing

? Skills
Basic safety knowledge.
Ability to deal with international test standards

? Computer skills
Good at Microsoft software (word, excel, outlook)
Proficiency with Pro-E Wild Fire 4 is mandatory.

? General

Candy Hoover Suzhou is a wholly owned foreign enterprise based in Suzhou. It reports and provides services to its parent company Candy Hoover Group srl who are a privately owned domestic appliance manufacturer based in Brugherio, Italy. Candy Hoover Group srl was formed in 1st January 2010 from the previous company Candy Elettrodomestici which was originally founded in 1945 with its initial production of washing machine. In 1995 Candy Elettrodomestici bought Hoover European Appliance group from Maytag adding to its major appliance division a vacuum cleaner manufacturer. Our office in Suzhou is responsible for the concept, design, development, testing, sourcing and quality management of our Small Domestic Appliances.
