Job Title: Packaging Engineer

Working Location:Shenzhen

Job Requirements

1. Bachelor degree or above, major in packaging design/engineering.
2. 5 years or above structural packaging development experience in retail or consumer related products. Examples:blister pack, pulp mold, window packing boxes.
3. Familiar with product packaging standards and regulations of different countries including USA and Europe.
4. Problem solver, self-initiative, multi-tasking.
5. Good command in both oral and written English.
6. Possess good interpersonal and communication skills, good team player.
7. Good knowledge in MS Office/illustrator/Auto CAD.
8. Travel frequently in China and occasionally abroad


Key Responsibilities:

1. Coordinating all activities with packaging vendors and internal teams to ensure package meets company requirements.
2. Support new packaging program development, identify potential issues in early stage to expedite time lines.
3. Manage and finalize Packaging Sheets based off transit test results.
4. Support Die line Management.
5. Evaluate for Cost Improvement opportunities and help implement CI's.
6. Conduct supplier process assessment, set up action plan for improvement.
7. Perform ISTA transit testing. Includes: (shock, vibration, compression etc.)
8. Evaluate new packaging material; help search for new packaging methods and quality suppliers.
9. Work closely with the Remington Design group and regional marketing to ensure fast development and approval process.
