CSG Marketing Manager


JOB SUMMARY
Overall responsibility to drive marketing strategy and execution in China for the assigned CSG brands (Cannondale and GT)

Development and execution of annual marketing plans
1. Define annual marketing objectives by brand based on business objectives
2. Formulate a focused marketing plan to achieve our objectives
3. Execute plan & track performance
4. Assess results, adjust and improve.

P.R/Media representation
1. To manage and develop CSG media representation, focusing on positioning the brands as the industry leader in performance, quality and innovation.
2. To build existing press relations, whilst seeking new opportunities to expand consumer and Marketing awareness through all media channels.

Retail
1. Working directly with PMD, the country sales force and key dealers to implement and drive retail oriented marketing initiatives, from global product launches through to dealer education, promotion, events and shows.
2. Creation and execution of all appropriate in store marketing tools such as POP, catalogues, leaflets, displays etc.

Sports Marketing
1. To work in conjunction with the Sports Marketing Manager, CSG athletes and professional teams to maximize and develop CSG global sports marketing platform.

Integration
1. Integrating Sales/marketing activities direct in China. To support sales teams, at a dealer level, in the communication of global marketing strategies in view of continually growing the retailer network. the Marketing Manager has the responsibility to recommend any additional locally specific marketing programs based on superior market knowledge

Strategy
1. Participating in developing and implementing marketing strategies in China.
2. The Marketing Manager is responsible to monitor and marshal the resources to ensure that these marketing initiatives are executed excellently on a timely basis in their market

Research/ Product
1. The Marketing Manager should know exactly what our consumers need and expect: Marketing trends, statistics, and consumer knowledge.

China specific
1. The Marketing Manager will be responsible for all China marketing efforts
2. Shanghai show organizer
3. Create social Media Strategy and manage update it
4. Translate promotional materials and catalogs
5. Preparation/translation of sales collateral
6. Web site setup

JOB REQUIEMENT

1. Good communication skills in English, written and verbal
2. Native Chinese language skills (especially written for blogs)
3. Microsoft Office
4. Bike knowledge preferred
5. Ability to travel outside of China
6. Flexible
7. Can do never give up attitude
8. University graduate
9. Strong Web/Social media experience
10. Bike passion, experience in similar role for outdoors sport company in China
