Objectives

Responsible to ensure the quality of sourced finished goods and purchased components meets company expectations. This includes initial supplier assessment through initial purchase of products and then to continuous improvements over time. It requires the setting and achievement of quality targets.

Key operational responsibilities

• Responsible for supplier quality engineering.
• Work with sourcing and purchasing teams to evaluate, inspect, audit, and analysis suppliers.
• When problems arise, work closely with other FC teams and suppliers to quickly analysis and resolve issues.
• Work with quality manager to set targets for SCR and then implement SCR.
• Become proficient in all FC Quality Processes & Procedures and insure our suppliers correctly meeting all Quality Processes, Procedures, and Requirements.
• Drive implementing Best Practice and 6 Sigma.
• Continue to improve the quality level of the goods sourced and suppliers by effective and efficient way.
• Responsible for the New Project Mass Production Release.

Travel

• This position will have frequent travel within China and occasional overseas travel.

Reporting to

SQE Leader, Floorcare & Small Appliances.

Competencies needed

- University degree in engineering or manufacturing

- Minimum 5 years working experience in related areas

- Experience in Floorcare or Appliances

- Good analytical capabilities

- Detail orientated

- Proactive worker

- Reliable and ability to work against deadlines

- Mandarin and English (both written and spoken)
