*To work independently or jointly with other engineers to ensure that R&D projects are being executed accurately and timely

*Define new LED process/device architectures

*Define & establish new LED technology design rules & test methodologies

*Design new LED device /process structures

*Respond to customers’technical queries

*Develop novel process /device architectures for high performance LED technologies

*Design of experiments for process and device development

*Evaluate device performance and provide technical guidance for performance improvement

*Perform data analysis and generate technical reports

*Responsible for the novel patterned sapphire substrates (PSS), GaN based LED device structure, process research and development

*Responsible for the novel LED epitaxial structure design

*Responsible for the development of novel LED electrode

*Responsible for the LED new technology information collection, analysis and research report; Provide project proposal

*负责LED新技术发展信息的收集、分析与研究，撰写研究报告，提出研发项目建议

Education:

Master or PhD in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or Physics or equivalent

Requirement:

*Self-starter with strong personal work ethic

*Strong problem solving skills

*Solid understanding of Semiconductor Device Physics, particularly semiconductor lasers and LEDs

*Hands-on experience in compound semiconductor processing and testing

*Strong numerical simulation capabilities

*Knowledge of SPC and DOE principles and methods

*Experience with databases and data analysis tools (SQL, Access, JMP, Excel, etc.)
