Main Accountabilities
?Determine & deliver the annual sourcing budget plan
?Manage supplier relationships and negotiation to deliver reduction in cost of goods sold, first to market ,supplier income and effective supply chain and cost management
?Select & develop profitable new lines
?To ensure that business continue to trade ethically
?Work with QA & suppliers towards continual product improvement
?A commitment to ensure that all sources of wood & paper products are known & legal sources and an increasing amount of FSC & recycled products are offered to buying teams as part of our continual improvement in this area
?Coach and act as mentor for junior team members where appropriate
