KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

- Owner of high speed core machine and components balance machine in Prototype
- Perform turbo sample/process study for balance spec.feasibility, and quality improvement to meet requestor expectation.
- Execute prototype work request in term of balance process
- Document balance process refer to actual operation and TS16949 system, and establish a tracking data system for balance data record.
- Design tooling and fixtures refer to balance request specification and drawing under some designer support
- Schedule and execute the machine calibration and verification process to make sure the machine in qualified status
- Executes statistical process control to ensure balance process under control
- Troubleshoot machines and equipment when there is some issue occurred in operation.
- Work with the supplier to restore machine and handle necessary maintenance refer to the supplier instruction.
- Train and coach related technicians how to operate, maintain the machines.
- Work with engineering NVH specialist to identify and solve noisy, and vibration issues complained from customer closely.
- Propose a development plan for balance function in turbo prototype.
- Interacts effectively with all levels of the organization, frequently participating on or leading cross functional teams.
- Participates in customer project reviews when necessary
- Follow company health, safety, and environmental policies in operation.
- Performs other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
- Enforce health, safety, security and emergency systems awareness.
- Any other tasks assigned by supervisor.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

- BS Degree in mechanical or electrical aspect, or above.
- 3 years or above of related Auto industry.
- At least 3 years of Manufacturing Engineering experience in a medium to large scale manufacturing. Fixture design experience is required.
- Experience in balance and vibration is preferred.
- Minimum 1 year working knowledge of popular PLC programming (Fanuc, Siemens or Allen Bradley, etc.) is required
- Working knowledge of Statistical Process Control tools (Minitab etc) is required
- Knowledge of turbochargers is a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) is required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
- Language, Fluent English, German is hgihly preferred.
