The Requirements

Education/training: University level, preferable degree holder in textiles and clothing or related disciplines

Professional experience:

-At least 5 years experience as a Merchandiser Fashion Accessories (scarf's, belts, bags, sunglasses, optics, etc)

-Detailed work approach and problem solving

-Strong communication skills with factories

-Good communication skills in English with head office

-Preferably also work experience in price and contract negotiation

-Good knowledge of the European requirements regarding textile

-Other requirements: Positive attitude, Flexible and stress resistant,Strong responsibility

Languages: English and Mandarin language skills

Tasks

-Communicating with head office and suppliers

-Order follow up with suppliers with great care of lead times

-Maintain daily contact with our QC's

-Visit factories and conduct in-line inspections

-Reporting to the Merchandise Manager
