CLIENT COMPANY:
Our Client is a European market leader for innovative and value added construction materials, and engages through its subsidiaries in the production and marketing of its products in all key growth markets globally. The company offers mineral and chemical building materials, such as pre-cast elements, dry mortar and concrete, thermal insulation composite systems plaster and plaster rehabilitation systems, paintwork and coating systems. Its products are used by professionals and DIY-enthusiasts in construction and civil engineering, mining, and tunnel construction applications.
The company has facilities in Germany, China, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Poland, Russia, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic.
The organization in China is one of 2 divisions within the global group present in the Chinese market. It is focused on producing and marketing pre-cast elements in the Chinese market with Anhui province being the main target market. The company has a complete functional foot print in China with a total headcount of 75 employees and a sales volume of around 45 million RMB per annum.

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
The key responsibilities of the role are:
+ To plan and manage diverse projects in accordance with the directions set by the General Manager
+ To coordinate, supervise and control CAD plans
+ To acts as an interface between the company and local planning authorities as well as customers
+ To provide training and guidance to other team members
+ To manage and coordinate technical designs and support customers in the design planning phase

PREREQUISITES
+ Holding a University degree, preferably in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Design, with in-depth knowledge of statics or other relevant discipline
+ Experiences in operating CAD Programs, such as Auto CAD, Nemetschek or other related programs used in the construction industry
+ Experience in handling Chinese construction and planning authorities is an advantage
+ Understanding of Chinese standards for construction
+ Experience in cement prefabricated parts is an advantage
+ Results-oriented and hands-on
+ Excellent communication and team working skills
+ German language skills are an advantage
+ Long-term willingness to live and work in Hefei
