We are a Dutch-owned company located in Shanghai, China. Our company is currently in the process of establishing a new business unit that will focus on assisting foreign-owned businesses with their entry into the Chinese market. We do so by offering a unique manufacturing based incubator platform in China that helps foreign-owned companies engineer, produce and distribute their products in the Chinese market. CHC was established in 1998 and has successfully helped over 100+ companies engineer, produce and assemble their products in China.

For our new business unit we are looking to attract one more foreign national to aid us in our sales efforts. He or she will be working together with our marketing manager and is responsible for all sales for our new venture. We are mainly targeting North-Europe; hence an applicant that is able to speak another European language is preferred, although not a perquisite.

Requirements

You will be responsible for generating new sales leads and acquiring customers for our new business unit. We are therefore looking for someone who likes to network, enjoys customer-contact and is not afraid to approach prospective customers/businesses.

• Possesses a university degree (bachelor or above) in preferably business
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written
• A strong understanding of sales and marketing
• Good research skills and shows initiative in opening up new markets and streams
• Ambitions to stay in China for a longer period of time
• Having sales experience and a track record is a plus
• Being able to speak Mandarin is a plus
• Enjoys working in a medium sized, non-corporate business
• Is able to work with sales targets and enjoys sales
• Is comfortable working in a pre-dominantly Chinese environment
• Being able to communicate in other European languages is a plus
