Quality Manager
Responsibilities
Reporting to business CEO to manage and further develop all aspects of Quality Assurance, Quality Control and Factory accreditation including but not limited to:
●Product Specifications
●Product testing and timely implementation of relating to new legislation
●Factory audits and follow up
●Quality Control protocols and inspections
●Team management and development
Main duties
1. Provide excellent technical support to all stakeholders during the development and lifetime of the product to ensure the highest levels of quality
2. Preparation and update of all product specifications
3. Ensuring all products and materials are safe to use and meet all required safety standards such as FDA and LFGB
4. Handle customer complaints and work with customers on quality issues
5. Managing all aspects of product/component testing – internally and with third parties laboratory
6. Establish and manage ongoing product quality improvement programs to support the product development process
7. Communicate with vendor for root cause analysis and continuous improvement
8. Overseeing all factory accreditations, audits and ensuring timely and relevant follow up
9. Lead, supervise and develop Quality team of China (include HK).
10. Development and management of all Quality Control protocols & procedures;
11. Evaluation, maintenance & update of Quality Control inspection reports
12. Ensure clear and concise communication with all departments to drive maximum efficiency across the business
Requirements
1. Diploma or above in quality management or related disciplines an advantage;
2. Minimum 8 years of working experience within a Quality environment with a minimum of 4 years at managerial level;
3. Deep knowledge of Stainless Steel and Plastics products is a MUST;
4. Relevant experience in Housewares /Kitchenware products highly preferred;
5. Well-versed and experienced in implementing international quality standards and management systems
6. Proactive in identifying potential quality problems and pragmatic in problem solving;
7. Dynamic, hands on and with "can-do" attitude in a demanding environment;
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; good management and leadership skills;
9. Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (Putonghua);
10. Frequent travel to PRC required.
