Responsibility:

Leading the seafood business in Tesco China while also responsible for seafood sourcing.

Responsible to work with Tesco China commercial team

• Define product specification and volume plan
• Work on Trade Plan and Hit Of the Month
• Update supply situation to the commercial team
• Develop action plan to delivery COGS budget
• Establish BFL bench marking and sign off by commercial
• Weekly telepresence meeting with commercial team to update performance of supply verse plan
• Liase with GFS sourcing team for price quotations from various countries
• Manage Service Provider of each country

Responsible for Seafood Sourcing

• To work with GFS Sourcing colleagues to supply to each country they are in
• To share product sourcing information with each other on supply situation
• Report to Category Sourcing Manager weekly KPI and on progress and development
• Work with GFS Technical Manager and Local TL&T requirement and inspection
• Internationl sourcing focus and manage exporters
• Achieving Seafood KPIs number
• Work with Supply Chain Manager for shipments and logistic
• Manage SKU into Product Book with Finance Manager
• Manage Service Provider inventory control
• Manage QSL and DSL from Exporters
• Spot buying opportunity
• Introduce new product

Requirements:

• Can converse in both written and spoken English
• Computer literate : Excel, Words, Power point
• Knowledge of financial data and math
• 5 years buying experience in seafood either in China or Seafood import.
• Understanding of seafood specification, seasonality and import regulations.
• Strong inter personal skills in dealing with people.
• Leadership skills
• Experience in presentation of business strategy
• Able to Travel
