Job Summary
？ Supervise daily the activities of 20 shop-floor employees to include machine-operators, welders & grinders;
？ Perform mechanical-engineering tasks related to automotive-aftermarket products.
Requirements
？ Bachelor Degree in Mechanical-Engineering or related engineering degree;
？ 5+ years’ experience in manufacturing or shop-floor environment;
？ 3+ years’ experience in supervision of shop-floor employees;
？ Familiarity with Solid-Works or Pro-E;
？ Positive attitude and effective communicator in both English & Mandarin;
？ Team player and able to multi-task.
Essential Job Functions
？ Daily interaction with shop-floor workers and Production Manager to address problems and provide solutions;
？ Supervise accurate and timely collection of shop-floor data using ERP system;
？ Work with Quality-Assurance Supervisor & Assembly-Supervisor as team under the direction of Production Manager;
？ Provide technical support to shop-floor workers;
？ Implement engineering changes using Solid-Works PDM system.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
？ Monitor and assure worker safety;
？ Enforce maintenance of clean & orderly work areas;
？ Suggest Process Improvements to Production Manager;
？ Suggest Quality Improvement ideas to Production Manager;
？ Help improve employee relations;
？ Assist Production Manager with workforce planning;
？ Enforce company policies & procedures;
？ Identify employees for training and/or promotion..
