Position Requirement:

· Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or Molding Design.

· Minimum 6 years experience in home appliance design and product introduction preferably in 3 years independently design, project management, design team leading experience in vacuum cleaner products.

· Solid knowledge on thermoplastic/seal/filtration materials; molding construction and injection process and home appliance product development process and testing standard.

· Good knowledge of mechanical movement/ prototype making/assembly process/ product cost control.

· Very experienced in Pro/E wildfire 2.0 software for 3D/2D cad drawing.

· Strong object consciousness, able to lead and motive team to complete assigned design/ project targets within schedule.

· Willing to take trip to domestic cooperate OEM manufacturer/ tooling /component supplier when necessary.

· Good problem solving, analysis and creative skill.

· Good team sprint and communication ability.

· Good written and oral English ability.

· Good learning skill and willing to take challenge tasks for personal development.

Job Description：

1. Assist the Project Leader to develop and manage for assigned canister new projects and team resource.

2. Assist the Project Leader with overall timing and resource plan for new projects, maintain the project timing in internal project management system and prepare presentation to report the project progress in Project Review Meeting on regular basis.

3. Assist the Project Leader to communicate the decisions from Project Review Meeting and set short term targets for all new projects and arrange team review and update progress on weekly basis.

4. Arrange team to carry feasibility study on new functional features, new styling before design work.

5. Actively participate in the Cad development work with design engineers, Direct and guide other design engineers to complete assigned design work within timescale, budget and meet performance specification by prototype building and testing.

6. Assist the PL to introduce the project in cooperative OEM manufacturer in Suzhou or Zhejiang province from tooling implementation to final production.

7. Assist on internal or external Project Reviews in each milestone to decide next steps actions and progress tracking.

8. Complete the internal approval documents for management approval in key milestones through project development process.

9. Technical support management for new model extension and quality improvement, cost reduction after mass production.

10. Assist PL to set yearly job description& performance target for engineers, carry performance guide and yearly performance review to develop the engineers

Communication Scope

Internally:

.weekly tasks progress report to Project leader.

.Daily Email with UK and Italy MKT for responsible project affairs.

.Project Review meeting with UK and Italy MKT team for own responsible project.

.Email with Italy industrial design company during ID design stage for new projects.

External: communication with prototype / nominated components/ OEM manufacturer suppliers.

Candy Hoover Group srl was formed in 1st January 2010 from the previous company Candy Elettrodomestici which was originally founded in 1945 with its initial production of washing machine. In 1995 Candy Elettrodomestici bought Hoover European Appliance group from Maytag adding to its major appliance division a vacuum cleaner manufacturer. Our office in Suzhou is responsible for the concept, design, development, testing, sourcing and quality management of our Small Domestic Appliances.
