Responsibilities;

1.Review all Size Sets – before product development team if made in the factory or after if made in the sample room (as finished garments on hangers) to highlight area of potential problems. Communicate to Product Development team and Assistant Technical Manager
2.Ensure all Red Seal sample, Pilot Run, In Line and Final Inspection take place on time with Factory schedules
3.Verify P/O quantities and ratio’s match with P/O documents
4.Communicate with Merchandiser on style priorities
5.Gather and Prepare information for TFG QC Style Files
6.Attend Hand Over Meetings and / or Pre-Production Meetings
7.Advise the relevant & new factory personnel of Customer requirements and TFG’s procedures. Keep TFG Tech Manager informed where there are issues. Serious issues must be reported to UK team and Production Director
8.Highlighting problems immediately by involvement at style start up. Initiating immediate corrective actions with the relevant Factory / Production / Quality staff members.
9.Monitor all quality and product safety aspects of in coming raw material inspection, spreading, cutting and bundling, embellishments, sewing and finishing including finished goods audits.
10.Monitor Product Safety Disciplines
11.Monitor Due Diligence Procedures
12.Sign off critical process quality standards
13.Monitor quality performance through reports, allowing them to review and advise factory personnel with corrective action on the “problem areas”
14.Monitor that the appropriate corrective and preventative action is taken and recorded
15.Initiate or assist with solutions for any day to day quality issues.
16.Advise where quality levels could be improved
17.Advise where defect rates could be reduced and minimise to achieve contract quantities.
18.Regularly monitor style file information
19.Monitor the destruction of Licensed Garments
20.Monitor the reconciliation of labeling and destruction
21.Review consumption patterns / markers where factory staff raise issues reporting to Technical Manager where you are unable to resolve
22.Compliance- Ensure you are aware of the requirements of the ETI Base Code, TFG Minimum Standard and Customer requirements.
23.Identify and advise factory Management / TFG compliance of any breaches / violations to these policies.
